Casting Lesson: We'll start the trip with a group casting lesson with Millie Paini of the TroutHunter.
Comfortable Lodging: After a day on the water, unwind in comfort at our private accommodations.  Sun Valley Women's Trip Report
September 2023 Eight fishy, intelligent women came together in Sun Valley, Idaho for a unforgettable adventure filled with breathtaking natural beauty and thrilling fishing experiences. This diverse group of ladies didn't know one another upon arrival but they bonded quickly and enjoyed exceptional food from Sun Valley, Idaho in our cozy condo. Pre-fishing coffee and post fishing wine and beer yielded great stories, learning opportunities and new friendships.
The best fishing opportunities included the world famous Silver Creek, Wood and Salmon Rivers, the Big Lost and Copper Basin. Each person had two walk wade days where there were both technical and non technical opportunities for participants to choose from. The third day was a float trip on the Salmon River. The scenery in each of these places is quite diverse but beautiful in its own special way. Silver Creek's preserve is indeed a special place to observe wildlife as well as chase large brown trout in crystal clear waters. Heading over the hill into the midst of the Sawtooth mountains and on the Salmon river provided opportunities to witness the Salmon spawning, the ruggedness of the back country and of course land a few rainbows.
Everyone caught fish and had a good time. Very grateful for this special group of women from diverse backgrounds who came together to fish, learn from one another and enjoy a beautiful corner of the world. Thank you ladies! |
